Accessing Controller & Internal Wiring for Outcross & Flex

Here are the steps to take to get into the controller:
Remove the 3 screws on the upper battery mount cover plate, and the 2 screws on the lock core cover plate.
Pull the upper battery mount and lock core out of the frame, set screws in covers so that don't get lost.

Wiring layouts on each plug: (picture below)

 

Battery supply (red plug connected to red plug)

red to red

Black to black

 

Cadence sensor connection (black plug connected to black plug, with finger release):
Orange to Red
Black to Green
Brown to Black

 

Motor signal wiring (6 pin white plug connected to 6 pin white plug, with finger release):

Black

White

Red

Blue

Green

Yellow

 

Motor power wiring (Clear and green rubber sleeves cover male/female connections):

Green to Green

Yellow to Yellow

Blue to Blue

 

Trunk "3-in-1" cable plug ("Julet" connection - Supplies power/data to the display, headlight, and brake sensors):

Arrows on both plugs need to be aligned when plugging in

Check for loose connections, unplug completely and align plugs properly, then reinstall.

To reinstall, put the controller followed by the wiring back in the frame, making sure that no extra wiring has come loose. 
Use the key in the lock core to position the lock core with the upper battery mount cover plate, insert at least on screw into the upper battery mount cover plate to secure the lock core again

reinstall your screws for the upper battery mount cover plate and the lock core cover plate.
