Changing the Charging Port in The Outcross

 

 

Step1:  Remove The Battery

 

Step 2: Remove 2 Philps screws from bottom battery terminal

 

 

Step 3: Pull out Rear Battery terminal (Be mindful not to pull too far forward to avoid ripping wires)

 

 

Step 4: Unclip Charging Port Connection Terminal

 

 

Step 5: Push in on tabs to remove the old terminal 

 

 

 

Step 6: Insert New Charging port

 

Step 7: Reconnect Charging Port Connection Terminal

 

Step 8: Reinstall rear battery terminal cover

 

Step 9: Enjoy your ride

 

 

 

NOTE** You can bypass Steps 1-3 by simply removing the charging port from the frame by using a pick to push inwards on the two tabs on the side of the charging port.

You can pull the charging port out, disconnect, and reconnect the new port without removing the battery terminal.
