Adjusting the sensitivity through changing the Speed sensor setting, in the background settings of the bike.

This alone changes the way that the bike sees how fast the wheel is spinning by counting the rotations of the wheel faster or slower than it is actually spinning.

This is resettable later by changing the settings back or doing a factory reset to change all settings back to base settings.

The instructions start in part 8.1

Here are the steps:

• STEP 1: Turn on your E-Bike

  -Long Press "M" Key until the Bike Powers on

   

  STEP 2: Enter the Settings Menu

  -Long Press both "+ and -" Keys until the screen switches

  -Do this 2 times until you reach the screen that says "P3"
  
  

  

  STEP 3: Enter Display Password - "2962"

  -Use "+ and -" Keys to select numbers

  -Short Press "M" key to switch to the next number

  -Enter "2962" and short press "M" Key to get to the User Settings Menus

Note: If the password is correct, enter the power-on password setting interface, if wrong password is entered, you will stay in the password input screen. Long press【MODE】to exit the settings. 

Once the password is entered correctly, VOL 1 will appear, press "+ and -" keys to toggle through the 7 menu options:

VOL 1 = Voltage levels

ScA 2  = PAS parameter settings (Pedal Assist System)

cur 3  = Current / Power supply settings for controller

PAS 4 = PAS sensor settings  (Pedal Assist System)

SPS 5 = Speed sensor setting

Hnd 6 = Throttle function settings

SYS 7 = System settings

(SPS - 5 Speed sensor setting) - Section 8.6 of the king-meter user manual, 

• Enter the SPS - 5 mode, and change the value to 2 to slow the bike (2 = 13mph top speed) or up to 9 to increase the speed sensor sensitivity. Use the 【UP】 and 【DOWN】 to increase/decrease input values
  (default is 6, range is 2-9)
• Long press 【MODE】to confirm and return to the personalized setting interface of the display.
• Long press 【MODE】to exit settings menu and go back to the standard display you see when riding the bike, the bike will now be limited by the settings and ready to test.
