Menu Manager Templates
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The menuman module uses the PEAR intergrated template system for its
templates. Here is a small example for more detail please refer to PEAR.

Valid menuman template variables
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All variables must be surrounded with {} in the templates.
INDENT - the extra space put before each link in the menu (level * spacer)
spacer is set in the menu settings
ITEM - the item chosen in menu settings, either a character or an image
ITEM_HREF - the link for the ITEM variable if you want it to be linkable
TITLE - the title of the menu link
HREF - the link to be used in association with TITLE
COORDS - coordiates for an image map
(ex. )
Each of the template variables have three different states (active, inactive, and open).
The variables are prefixed in the templates like this:
ACTIVE_var
INACTIVE_var
OPEN_var

How the vertical template gets built:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First the tableheader.tpl is read into a string, this does not necessarily have to
be a table header. Then each item is appended to the string in the following fashion:
depending on the level of the menu a specific menuitem.tpl file
tablerow.tpl + menuitem(level).tpl + tablerowclose.tpl
Then finally the tableclose.tpl is appended to the end of the string.
The menuitem.tpl in the default example is a full table cell but this is not always
necessary. All the files tableheader.tpl, tablerow.tpl, tablerowclose.tpl, and
tableclose.tpl could all be left blank and the menuitem.tpl file could look like:
{INDENT}{TITLE}
if you want your template to be extremely simple.
IMAGE MAP EXAMPLE:
Put the information about the image you are going to use and the opening tag in the tableclose.tpl file. You now
have a fully functional image map menu :)

How the horizontal template gets built:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The horizontal menu template gets built exactly like the vertical template except
there is a tableheader.tpl, tableclose.tpl, tablerow.tpl, tablerowclose.tpl for each
level. This just allows for greater flexibility. Please see the tabular template for an
example of making a simple tabular menu with horizontal menu templates.
