If you feel that your bike is generating too much Assist Power, you can change the distribution of power from 0-5 levels to 0-9 levels. With more levels, the ramp-up or power will feel more gradual.
This is how to perform the settings change on your Computer Display
Definitions:
Short Press: Press and Release
Long Press: Press and Hold
STEP 1: Turn on your E-Bike
-Long Press "M" Key until the Bike Powers on
STEP 2: Enter the Settings Menu
-Long Press both "+ and -" Keys until the screen switches
-Do this 2 times until you reach the screen that says "P3"


STEP 3: Enter Display Password - "2962"
-Use "+ and -" Keys to select numbers
-Short Press "M" key to switch to the next number
-Enter "2962" and short press "M" Key to get to the User Settings Menus

Once the password is entered correctly, VOL 1 will appear, press "+ and -" keys to toggle through the 7 menu options:
VOL 1 = Voltage levels
ScA 2 = PAS parameter settings (Pedal Assist System)
cur 3 = Current / Power supply settings for controller
PAS 4 = PAS sensor settings (Pedal Assist System)
SPS 5 = Speed sensor setting
Hnd 6 = Throttle function settings
SYS 7 = System settings

STEP 4: Entering SCA 2 menu rom menu options
- Short Press "+ and -" keys to toggle through Menu Options
-Once you see "SCA 2", short press "M" Key

STEP 5: Select Your Power Level Selection
-You can now select your power level selection (0-3/1-3/0-5/1-5/0-7/1-7/0-9-1-9). Toggle through options by Short Pressing "+ and -" keys
-Keep in mind that if you select any level that starts with level 1, you cannot disengage pedal assist while riding unless you repeat this process and select a level that starts with 0
-Once you decide what level you want, Long Press "M" key twice, Until back into the standard Screen.
